What type of fuel do cargo ships use?

Most cargo ships use bunker fuel which is a form of crude oil. Most ships use diesel fuel. Most modern ships today use nuclear fuels; especially in military ships. Military ships will use normal operating engines and for more speed they will just fuel gas turbine engines for them to run smoothly. Usually, one container ship polluates as much as 50 million cars.
