What type of fabric is the greenest?

    Hemp, because it is a fast growing plant it uses more CO2 than other plants. It also requires less chemicals to process than other materials.

    Bamboo fabrics are actually one of the greenest fabrics on the market, but they don’t usually get as much notice as hemp. Bamboo is an incredibly strong and resilient plant, and its fibers create a very sturdy yet soft fabric. The plant grows extremely quickly and requires little water as well. It also has natural antibacterial and sweat-absorption properties and the great drape of silk. Look for the unbleached and undyed bamboo textiles for the greenest product possible.
