Considered a large predator, lynx have few natural predators they are threatened by. However, they’ve been known to be killed by bobcats, wolves, coyotes, and humans. They mostly live in remote areas – densely wooded forests in Canada and the northern US, where they tend to dominate over hares, mice, and other small animals.
To add to the previous answer, lynx’s usually hunt during the nighttime and generally stay away from humans. Lynx are great hunters as well, they can spot a mouse from 250 feet away. I think that’s incredible. That being said, humans are one of the greatest threats to these animals. They are considered as threatened and are often hunted for their beautiful fur.
