What time of day is U.S. energy use the lowest?

    Usually around 4 in the morning or so. That’s when the most people are asleep across the country, and that’d be 4 am eastern time. That’d make it about 1 am on the west coast, allowing for the majority of the population to be interested in sleep and not using electricity. Peak hours are from 1-9 pm according to most electricity companies.
