Time banking is basically a service exchange system. The services are measured in one hours worth of labor. If you work for one hour, you gain one “Time Dollar,” or “Time Credit” and can spend that to receive an hour of work from someone else. The system is set up to provide incentive for people to do volunteer type work that they may otherwise not have done.
Hope this helps!
Time banking is spending an hour doing something for your community. The hour you spend goes into the Time Bank as a Time Dollar. You earn and save Time dollars to spend on having someone doing something for you. Each Time Bank has a website where you list what you can do for other people. You can findTime Bank services online or a community coordinator can do it.
