There are currently no large scale vertical farms (or gardens) in the US. There are home scale gardens, and research facilities, but no working farms of signifigant height. The first likely one is going to be in Chicago, where plans are currently taking place for installation of one. In addtion New York City, Portland, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Seattle are all saying they have serious interest in developing them in the near future.
I believe the tallest vertical garden, or green wall, in the U.S. is in downtown Pittsburgh. At 2,380 square feet, the PNC green wall is said to be the biggest in America. It covers the side of 30 story building. I’m not sure if you’d consider this an actual vertical garden, in the entire sense of the phrase, but it’s still pretty cool.
