Since bisphenol-a has long been recognized as a potentially dangerous substance, very few products still contain the compound. It is INCREDIBLY difficult to find information on those that do… but unfortunately they are still out there. As recently as November of 2009 there reports in Consumer Reports that found BPA in some products at dangerous levels. Plastic products that are labeled with either a 3 or a 7 can possibly contain BPA.
BPA is still found in some canned foods. Baby bottles and sippy cups are also a major concern. Due to the uproar in the media last year, many products will have a “BPA free” label now that you can check for.
BPA is still found in some water bottles and baby bottles, however BPA is much less common in new products.
