E85 is a popular natural gas alternative. It’s created from a combination of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. It’s very popular in areas where corn is a major produce. Currently in the U.S., forty-one regions have E85 refueling stations. Minnesota has the highest number of E85 gas stations, approximately 300.
Fun Fact: Brazil is the leading exporter of E85.
