This begs the question–if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound? Natural disasters can occur frequently if you can consider them such–we actually undergo microquakes now and again on the west coast, but they are undetectable and hardly register on seismographs that aren’t directly over them. Also there are no doubt occasional twisters or storms that hit uninhabited areas. That being said, I hope you find the kind of answer you might want from the citation–a map of the US with states and their risks for various natural disasters.
