Geothermal electric power plants are located in California, Nevada, Utah and Hawaii. The two largest concentrations of plants are at The Geysers
in northern California and the Imperial Valley in southern California.
If you mean geothermal activity that isn’t necessarily being utilized by humans, then Alaska would probably be high on the list with it’s volcanoes, also, Washington and Oregon and Wyoming (Yellowstone).
You can check out this geothermal resource map from the DOE to see the resources of every state in the country (excluding Alaska and Hawaii).
