Stamen is the male reproductive structure in flowers. It tend to be long and filament like. It produces pollen which contains the male genetic material. Reproduction in plants occur when the pollen from the stamen is carried either by wind, water or pollinator to the female reproductive structure and fuses to develop the offspring.
