A spokeless bike has none of the ‘spokes’ or the bars that go from the center of the wheel to the rim of the wheel. Apparently a group of 9 mechanical engineers from Yale, were able to construct a “spokeless bike” in just one semester, however only the back wheel has no spokes because of time/budget restraints. The frame and the wheel are welded together, but makes the back wheel rotate by the interlocking parts on the wheel itself and the gear.
Spokeless bicycles are pretty much bikes with wheels that do not have spokes in them.
