The Exxon Valdez oil spill in March of 1989 killed the most wildlife. It spilled almost 11 million gallons into the Prince William Sound of Alaska. The spill was the cause of death for 3,000 sea otters, 250,000 sea birds, 300 harbor seals, 22 orca whales, and 250 bald eagles. Scientists estimate that over a two billion smaller fish and other sea life were killed as well.
