What is the smallest toad in South America?

In 2009 two herpetologists found a 11.4 millimeter midget frog named the Noble’s Pygmy Frog.  Noble’s Pygmy Frog was discovered only because of its croaking in Manu National Park.  Females lay eggs a mere 4 millimeters in size.  It is believed their small size and the mist / weather of south-eastern Peru is why the frog remained undiscovered for so long.
