What is the smallest size a solar plant can be and still make economic sense?

The smallest size possible is not even a plant-it’s a solar panel stuck to the roof of a home in a relatively sunny area. Eventually, benefits will outweigh costs. Hybrid solar/gas plants, e.g. plants that do both at a reduced scale, make sense, if you aren’t ready to make the switch completely to solar.
In general, the more solar panels you have, the more energy from the sun is created and used.
