The Bukit Nanas Forest, located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is the smallest tropical rainforest in the world. It has been protected as a biodiversity reserve for over 100 years and is also the oldest reserve in the country. The forest is actually only as large as 10 hectares (nearly 25 miles), but is diverse in its species of flora and animals. There are several species of birds, monitor lizards, two species of monkeys, and snakes that roam the tropical rainforest. There are many trails for tourists and locals to travel through the Bukit Nanas.
