Although many well-known rainforest animals are large predators (such as great cats) or great apes, the majority are relatively small, and include fruit bats, rodents, and small simians such as tarsiers. Based on the information I was able to find, the smallest rainforest animal is probably the pygmy lemur, whixh is the smallest primate in the world, and is only 2 and a half inches long and weighs about 1 ounce.
Another small mammal is the Bumblebee Bat. The bat lives in Western Thailand and has recently been discovered in Myanmar and while they do not live in jungles directly, they live in adjacent limestone caves. It grows to about 1.1-1.3 inches in length and weighs about 2 grams or 0.07 ounces.
