Dexters are the smallest breed of cattle in Australia. They originated in Ireland and were introduced to Australia in the 1880’s. They are the smallest naturally occurring British cattle breed and more efficient to farm than larger cattle. Their sizes ranges from a height for cows of 97-107 cm and bulls at 102-112 cm.
