The scientific explanation for the origins of life are whats known as something called abiogenesis. In abiogenesis, natural chemical reactions that take place apart from life can form into what are called amino acids. From here, the amino acids form chains which form proteins which then come together to form DNA. Scientists believe that between 3.5 and 4 billion years ago, chemical reactions taking place in the primordial soup formed these amino acid chains which subsequently created the DNA that became the first single-celled organisms. From there, evolution explains how the rest happened.
