This one is pretty horrifying – it’s almost unrecognizable.

DeaddolphinAlthough it’s not covered in oil, this is still really sad.

This gets my vote! You can see him struggling but there’s not much he can do. These animals are so beautiful too, when they fly along the waves in the ocean just gliding for miles. Every now and then one of their wings will touch the wave, absolutely beautiful.

This oil spill has effected animals and humans alike.  We are all connected on this planet, no one more important than another.

This is one of the saddest pictures I have seen that deals with animals effected by the oil spill.  Most of the pictures we see are of animals that are covered in oil, but are being rescued.  I think a lot of times these images distract people from the fact that there are actually hundreds of animals being killed.

This is pretty heartbreaking. This is photo of a pod of dolphins that washed ashore in Louisiana, bloated and covered in oil after the BP oil spill.

This picture of a sea turtle is from the recent BP oil spill in the gulf. Only seven species of sea turtles exist today and five of those live in the gulf. The Kemp’s ridley turtle, which happens to be the most endangered is also the one most affected by the spill.
