The Russian scallop garden project is the use of scallops by Russian scientists to monitor pollution. The scallop garden will be set-up at Far East Kozmino Bay on Russia’s Pacific Coast at a oil terminal. The scallops naturally absorb toxins and scientists will be able to measure pollution levels in the bay.
