That depends on how you define return. Return could be defined as more aware, efficient, and self-reliant employees. You could also look at your business’s output and overhead costs. If your sustainability training influences employees to lean their supply chain and find ways to improve business efficiency, the savings could be a marked return on the investment for the initial training. Creating a better work environment and happier employees could also be seen as a benefit coming from sustainability training.
