Theoretically, one of the rivers beginning in the Himalayas would qualify for the title. The most prominent of these are the Ganges, the Brahmaputra, the Indus, and the Yangtze. The lowest points of these rivers are their deltas, at sea level. Since their sources are located in the world’s highest mountain range, these would rivers have the largest drop in elevation from beginning to end.
