What is the right number of population per square kilometers (population density)?

There is no such thing as a “right” number for population density.

Population densities range from zero to tens of thousands per sq km. Some of them may result in less pleasant living conditions than some people might prefer, but none are “right” or “wrong”.

I agree that there isn’t an exact “right” number for population density. It mostly depends on whether or not people have the resources that they need and if the area can function.
