What is responsible for shrinking caribou herds?

    One source cites that caribou herds are shrinking as a result of global warming. In many of their habitats, warmer temperatures have tipped the natural balance of the tundra biome, resulting in a sharp decline in the resources required by the caribous. Subsequently, herds have shrunk globally.
