The world is round—well, actually, spherical. So the saying, what goes around, comes around is especially pertinent when we talk about global CO2 levels and climate change. What benefits someone here (by lowering energy use and CO2 emissions) also benefits someone all the way on the other side of the world because the atmosphere recirculates every so often (I think it’s every couple of weeks or less!). Other regions that have benefitted from cleaner cities and less pollution are found all over: from California to Colorado to Massachusetts.
