The rainforest of Africa lose between 57.6 and 232 million animals to poacher’s “harvesting” every year.  The most popular areas are the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, Gabon, and Cameroon.  This devastating figure has a major effect on the biodiversity of the continent, driving hundreds of species onto the endangered species list.
