Psychedelic research pertains to therapeutic practices involving the use of psychedelic drugs, such as ergine, LSD, DMT and psilocin. Sometimes used to treat emotional illness, and depression; helps boost confidence and self-esteem.

Psychologists treat patients in a controlled environment and record their feelings and emotions; scientists get the drugs from FDA approved distributors. PET scans or brain scans are taken and note the closeness of priorital cortex (control sense)  and  frontal medium cortex (controls judgement and personality). Its used in cancer patients that might be dealing with death, fear and depression.
