Toss it once and the probability is 1/2. Toss it again and it’s 1/4. A third time is 1/8. You can see this is true by drawing a diagram that illustrates all the options that could happen:

From this you can see there is a pattern
1/2 x 1/2 = 1/4
1/4 x 1/2 = 1/8
The formula is 1/(2^n), with n being the number of times the coin is flipped. Therefore the probability of all heads 5 times in a row is 1/32
