what is present in the space, “hydrogen ion” or “hydrogen atom”?

    Hydrogen in outer space presents in the atomic form (H) and the molecular form (H2), which happens when two hydrogen atoms bond together.  As far as I know, hydrogen ions are not known to have a presence in space.
