Eliw92 is correct. To elaborate, it can include residential or commercial materials, such as paper, aluminum cans, plastics, metals, etc.
I would like to point out also that you as a consumer have the power to contribute to this effort. Recycling saves paper, plastics, metals, and glass from landfills. Not only that, but quite a few clever people have figured out how to find a new use for something old and unwanted.
Patagonia, for one example, uses recycled materials for it’s apparel. Also, counter tops are more steadily being made of recycled materials. Paper and packaging are the most common recycled and resused products.
