What portion of global greenhouse gases are attributable to electricity generation?

In the United States, one third of greenhouse gas emissions and 41% of carbon dioxide emissions come from electricity production – this is because, behind the electricity, there are all of those fossil fuel-burning power plants (namely coal) creating the electricity!  I could not find percentages for global emissions, but a report by the Pew Center on Climate Change has a chart that shows global CO2 emissions from electricity and heat generation to be about 10,300 Teragrams (Tg) of CO2.
