This depends on your water pressure of the shower and how much water you would use for a bath. A simple way to test this is to use a shower/bath combination and turn on the shower head while keeping the drain closed. Set a timer and see how long it takes before the water level rises to the level you would use for a typical bath. This will tell you exactly how long of a shower you would have to take to equal a bath.
It depends on the size of your bath tub and your shower flow rate, but assuming an average bath of about 40 gallons, it would be about a 15-20 minute shower to match a bath as far as water consumption. If you’re curious, put in the drain next time you take a shower and see how far it fills up.
