At what point does the oxygen you breathe in become carbon dioxide?

The oxygen that you breath in enters the blood stream and is taken to the cells throughout your body. It is used to fuel the cells and the processes that take place within your body. Carbon dioxide is created during cell respiration where the body makes glucose with the oxygen that the cells have been brought. The carbon dioxide is then transferred by the blood to the lungs where it is exchanged for oxygen once again.
