Wicker is fibers woven into a rigid material. The type of fiber varies. Wicker is traditionally made from plants, but plastics can be used for wicker as well.
The plants most often used in wicker is rattan reeds, but bamboo and cane can be used as well. Wicker today is commonly made of “paper fibre”, a synthetic material.
