    Corn! Because that is what they use to feed and fatten up all of their cattle.

    Yes, although cows really should be eating grasses since that is their natural diet, in the factory farming scheme America has developed, corn is now the most important plant. Each of the millions of beef cattle fed corn will have to consume around 35 pounds of it a day to put the same weight they could eating just a fraction of that of grass.
