You will need to know what each of the genes are and which is dominant, or if they have co-dominance. For example, the famous color genes for Mendel’s pea plants are green and yellow. Yellow (Y) is dominant to Green (G). So if you have a genotype of YY or YG you will get yellow peas, but only if you have a genotype of GG will you get green peas.
