PETG stands for polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified. It is a sturdy, chemical resistant plastic sheet. It is used for medical packaging, medical braces, electronics, bottles for soaps, covers, glazing, and guards, among other products. According to Midland Plactics, Inc., “it bonds easily using solvents and adhesives” and “fabricates well using processes like die cutting, drilling, routing, bending, and polishing,” though it does not do well outdoors since it is not UV resistant.
