Yes, there most definitely are pesticides that can be dangerous to any creature (dogs included). it is illegal for these pesticides to say “safe when use as directed” on the container, and they usually include benzene or xylene. Some are even the same in composition to agent orange.
Pesticides are meant to exterminate insects, and prolonged exposure or large doeses can be harmful to respiratory systems in many animals. Even if the label claims that natural ingredients were used, it is best to be safe and keep pets away from treated areas. It is also a good idea to use caution when putting out the pesticide to prevent inhalation.
