What percentage of people in America that graduate high school go on to graduate college?

    As of 2006 the national high school graduation rate was 69.2%. In 2007, 56% of students in the coordinating year were able to obtain a bachelor’s degree within 6 years of high school graduation.

    In 2004 85% of adults ages 25 and over had a high school diploma. Of those 85% of adults, 27% had a college degree. This means around 23% of adults ages 25 and over had a college degree of some variety.
