what part of the United States gets the most snow annually?

    There are a few areas that get the highest levels of annual snowfall. That includes: southeastern Alaska, northern parts of New York, New Hampshire, and Michigan, and many areas in the Rocky Mountains – parts of Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and even New Mexico. See the map below for details. If we look at the data over regions rather than small spots, I’d say the part of Northeast along the border with Canada and stretch of Rockies around Wyoming and Colorado get the most.
