In the U.S, hail is most common in “Hail Alley” — the region where Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming meet. Hail in this region occurs anytime between the months of March and October, most commonly during the afternoon. Cheyenne, Wyoming is the U.S’s most hail prone city, with an average of nine to ten hailstorms per season.
