The part of the pig with the most fat is the side or belly. Meat in this area will have much marbling. Cuts from this area would include bacon and spareribs.
Generally the belly is the fattiest part of the pig; just as humans do, pigs store excess fat around their bellies, hips, and rears. This attributes to the high fat count in both bacon and spareribs, meat taken from the back and belly of the pig.
