What part of the ocean has the most giant squid?

    Giant squid are found about 1000-2000 ft. deep in all of the world’s oceans.  The squid prefer cooler, deep waters.

    They are abundant in the antarctic, but they can be found all over the world’s oceans.

         Giant squid seem to prefer continental and island slopes. Not many are found in tropical and polar regions.
