What part of the environment is most important for human survival?

The environment in general is important for human survival, no one part is particular. Each part of the environment (atmosphere, oceans, rivers, forests, etc.) is relient upon every other part of the environment. Nature is self sufficient, and has been set up to continue to do so. If the forests were destroyed to a point of devastation, the oceans and atmosphere would spiral out of control until balance was restored to nature.
