Any types of paper can be recycled. However, the only types of paper that are actually recycled are those that are clean. Therefore, I do not suggest recycling very dirty paper. 🙂
Any type of paper has the chance to be recycled. What happens is that when it gets to a recycling plant, the paper gets sorted and only the best paper, meaning cleanest, is used. The reason is because the paper is going to be used for something else and it would require more effort to try and clean paper and then recycle it.
Many recycling companies will not accept heavily inked paper, or those with dark hues, like golden rod or deep pinks. You can also recycle envelopes, but not the window portion and not those with padded with bubble wrap.
