Organic beef is beef that has been produced organically – that is, the livestock that it is taken from is “given access to the outdoors, fresh air, water, sunshine, grass and pasture, and is fed 100 percent organic feed”. No animal byproducts are ever included in organic feed, and the livestock cannot be given antibiotics or growth hormones.
