The Norway-Brazil forest protection plan is one planned by Norway and Brazil in which wealthy nations that cannot lower their carbon emissions, would instead give monies to help protect the rainforests. It is supposedly a cost-effective way to avoid deforestation and to address the climate change. One reason it is being to widely proclaimed is due to the similarity to Prince Charles’s Rainforest Project.
