The Nokia E-Cu concept phone converts heat into electricity to power the phone. This means the phone no longer requires a charger and can charge in your hand, pocket, or on any heat source. Its exterior is made of copper in the pattern of earth stricken by heat, with cracks in the ground. The “E” stands for environment and the “Cu” stands for copper. They predict it will save 15,000 tons of garbage comprised of discarded phone chargers every year.
