The Net Impact Conference was held October 28-30 2010, at the University of Michigan to an audience of 2,500 attendees. The message of the conference: create a more sustainable world for the generations to come. Keynote speakers included: Majora Carter (Majora Carter Group, LLC) spoke about “greening communities,” and the positive effect this can have on the economy; Kim Jeffrey (Nestle Waters North America) discussed ways to make bottled water more sustainable, as well as green designs and recyclability; and Gary Hirshberg (Stonyfield Farm) illustrated the importance of providing food for everyone on the planet, and the ways we can accomplish this.
